Release notes for : Simbus_SR2022.0.2.1 of Simbus (R) products. Simbus_SR2022.0.2.1 is a collection of products from Simbus for use with MATLAB (R) and Simulink (R) from MathWorks (R) releases R2021b and above. Simbus_SR2022.0.2.1 includes the following products: 1) Simbus Core Toolbox (TM): A collection of low-level MATLAB functions and low-level Simulink blocks. It also serves as infrastructure for Simbus Bondgraphs and other forthcoming Simbus products. The Simbus Core Toolbox is provided free with Simbus Bondgraphs and is not distributed as a separate product currently. 2) Simbus Bondgraphs (TM): Physical system modeling using bond graphs in the Simulink environment. CHANGES WITH RESPECT TO SR2022.0.1.1 ==================================== A. DOCUMENTATION UPDATES ======================== None. B. SOFTWARE UPDATES =================== 1. Simbus Core Toolbox (TM) --------------------------- a) The "simple_time_derivative" block in the Simbus Core Toolbox library has been updated with an improved initial condition setting mechanism. 2. Simbus Bondgraphs (TM) ------------------------- a. Blocks that represent dynamic 1-port elements (capacitance, inertance, modulated capacitance, and modulated inertance) now have more robust derivative causality behavior when the parameter "Time Derivative Type" is set to "Simple". Previous releases have resulted in some 1-ports outputting zero for their power variables due to difficulty in computing the simple derivative. b. The blocks representing the capacitance, modulated capacitance, and modulated intertance had an internal parameter set incorrectly that limited the effectiveness of the frequency-limited derivative when this option was selected for handling derivative causality (when the parameter "Time Derivative Type" is set to "Frequency-Limited").
